Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by Him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth. - II Tim. 2:15

Welcome
The Seminary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is organised as a centre for the training of Catholic priests according to the norms of the Reformed Old Catholic Church. The sole motive of its foundation and purpose of its functioning is to preserve the priesthood, not only with regard to the validity of Holy Orders, but also with regard to the proper training of priests.

Sacred Heart is a progressive institution of higher education and encourages its seminarians to learn what the Church expects of her priests in faithfulness to her teachings. The Seminary utilises the best in traditional and contemporary education models to provide the widest possible access to quality academic and practical learning. It provides ministry development and training to dioceses, parishes and mission territories in the Independent Sacramental Movement.

The Seminary's immediate goal is to train Seminarians to become good and holy priests. Upon recommendation of the local Bishop, a person who has received ordination prior to Seminary training, may be admitted as a Seminarian. We invite all who have a vocation to make inquiries; seek a spiritual director and a mentor who can guide you for ministry within the Church.
