Bishops of the Independent Sacramental Movement had an immediate need to provide training for their respective candidates for Holy Orders.
The late Monsignor Anthony Guagliardo of Sacred memory (previously a Roman Catholic priest) had been approached to consider formulating modules as part of a programme for ordinands. A former Seminary lecturer with a background in education, Monsignor proposed the formation of a Seminary. |
With the unanimous agreement of the Bishops of the Liberal Catholic Apostolic Church (now the Old Catholic Apostolic Church); the Reformed Old Catholic Church (formalised 2014) and the Church of Antioch, Sacred Heart of Jesus Seminary was founded in 2009.
